The NBA has fined Oklahoma City Thunder guard Russell Westbrook $10,000 and has given him a postgame technical foul for confronting Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert during Game 4 on Monday night.
The league made the announcement Tuesday.
Westbrook came onto the court as a sub following a stoppage in play due to a foul midway through the fourth quarter of the Thunder's 113-96 loss to the Jazz. The reigning MVP and Gobert jawed at each other, with Westbrook appearing to slap away the Jazz center's hand.
