Syracuse sophomore Tyus Battle testing NBA draft

Syracuse sophomore Tyus Battle has declared for the NBA draft but has not hired an agent, the school announced Friday.

Battle is projected to be a first-round pick in this year's draft.

The sophomore led the Orange in scoring, averaging 19.2 points per game, as Syracuse reached the Sweet 16 in the NCAA tournament before losing to Duke.
