Steph Curry plays 34 minutes in return from sprained ankle

NBA, Golden State Warriors, Toronto Raptors

TORONTO -- Stephen Curry returned to the starting lineup for Golden State on Saturday night, scoring 24 points in 34 minutes of a 127-125 victory against the Toronto Raptors.

Curry resprained his troublesome right ankle before the Warriors lost to the LA Clippers on Wednesday night. He also sat out Friday's win at Milwaukee.

"It's sore but it felt good enough to play,'' Curry said. "It's probably exactly where I was the last time I came back. I don't feel limited out there but you just feel it.''

Curry missed 11 games in December with a similar injury but had averaged 35.2 points in five games since returning.

Warriors forward Andre Iguodala, who injured a hip Friday, played eight minutes against Toronto, while forward Omri Casspi missed his second straight game because of a sore lower back.

For Toronto, point guard Kyle Lowry remained out with a bruised tailbone.
