Coach Steve Clifford has been cleared to rejoin the Charlotte Hornets for practice, roughly five weeks after stepping away from the team to deal with a heath-related issue.
The Hornets said in a release that Clifford will officially rejoin the team starting with practice on Jan. 16.
The previously undisclosed medical condition Clifford had been dealing with was severe headaches, which had started before the season, according to the Charlotte Observer. Clifford had been working with doctors on how to treat them, the paper said.
