Denver Nuggets coach Michael Malone missed Monday night's 114-98 win at Sacramento while serving a one-game suspension without pay.
Malone made contact with a game official after coming onto the court and stopping play with around 6:20 remaining in the second quarter of Denver's 127-109 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday night.
Malone came onto the court after center Nikola Jokic took issue with the officiating. No foul was called after Jokic was bumped attempting a tip-in.
Jokic was issued a technical and ejected for his actions against the official, but the NBA announced Monday it had rescinded the ejection fine.
