The Conference 6 playoffs for the 2016-17 Kwesé Premier Basketball League season have been scheduled for 14-19 August, according to the Nigeria Basketball Federation.
At the end of the regular season, the top six teams from the two Conferences - Atlantic and Savannah - qualified, and they will now battle it out in round robin games in Lagos and Kaduna respectively.
The two bottom teams from each conference were relegated at the conclusion of the regular season. In the Savannah Conference, these were Kada Stars and NAF Rockets, while in the Atlantic Conference, Bauchi Nets and Delta Force suffered the drop.
From the Atlantic Conference, Kwara Falcons, Rivers Hoopers, Hoops & Read, Nigeria Customs, Oluyole Warriors and Police Baton have qualified for the playoffs in Lagos.
Kaduna will see defending champions Kano Pillars, Gombe Bulls, Mark Mentors, Niger Potters, Defenders, and Plateau Peaks slug it out in the Savannah Conference.
At the end of the playoffs, the top four teams from each Conference will qualify for the finals of this season's Kwesé Premier Basketball League.
