Despite the Cavaliers drama, Kevin Love is doing just fine

NBA, Cleveland Cavaliers

Kevin Love has been the subject of trade rumors for almost his entire tenure with the Cleveland Cavaliers, with speculation swirling about how he fit alongside LeBron James and whether he could stay on the court in a series against the Golden State Warriors.

Much of that speculation died down after the Cavs won the title in 2016, but it flared back up last year and got louder this summer after Carmelo Anthony hit the trade market and reportedly told the Knicks he'd only accept a trade to Cleveland or Houston. So when the news broke that Kyrie Irving told the Cavaliers he wanted to be traded, you'd be forgiven for thinking Love might be freaking out about what's happening with the Cavaliers.

Nope.

InsideHoops.com sent a tweet after the Irving story broke in the afternoon, asking "Hi @KevinLove, how are things" and because they tagged Love, the four-time All-Star was able to see it in his mentions. From there, he sent the perfect response.

Of course, nothing can ever be perfectly straightforward with the Cavs, so fans might latch onto Love's use of the word "peculiar." That's the same word Irving used to describe the Cavs' offseason two days ago, telling Sports Illustrated, "I understand we're in a very peculiar place." As has been the case for three years in Cleveland, the saga continues.
