Tar Heels big man Tony Bradley will stay in NBA draft

North Carolina freshman big man Tony Bradley confirmed he is signing with an agent will remain in the NBA draft.

The 6-foot-10 Bradley averaged 7.1 points and 5.1 rebounds in a reserve role with the Tar Heels, who won the national championship this past season. He played behind seniors Kennedy Meeks and Isaiah Hicks.

Bradley was set to assume a starting role next season, but he went through the NBA draft process and received favorable feedback that he would be taken in the first round of the June 22 NBA draft, one source told ESPN.

The Tar Heels also lost leading scorer Justin Jackson early to the draft, but they do return starting point guard Joel Berry II, Theo Pinson, Kenny Williams and Luke Maye.
