Arizona State men's basketball coach Bobby Hurley has agreed to a new five-year contract.

The 46-year-old's new deal runs through 2023.

Hurley now will receive a raise of $700,000 to $2.1 million this July and a signing bonus of $700,000 within 45 days of the contract's approval by the Arizona Board of Regents. He will receive raises of $100,000 in 2019 and 2020 and $200,000 in 2021.

Hurley also will get a $1 million retention bonus on Jan. 1, 2022.

Hurley is in his third season with the Sun Devils, compiling a 46-40 record.

This season, Arizona State is 16-5 but only 4-5 in the Pac-12, which is eighth place.
