Tejada has 6 3s, 25 points to lead Lehigh to 83-77 win

BETHLEHEM, Pa. -- Lance Tejada made six 3-pointers and scored 25 points and Lehigh rallied from an early 16-point deficit to beat Holy Cross 83-77 on Friday.

Tejeda had 14 points in a 22-11 run as Lehigh (7-7, 2-1 Patriot League) built a 16-point lead with 11:27 to go. Holy Cross cut it to two with 22 seconds left but didn't score again with Kyle Leufroy and Jordan Cohen making two free throws each.

Lehigh trailed 19-3 with 12:55 left in the first half then outscored the Crusaders 42-21 and led 45-40 at the break.

Pat Andree, who had 14 points in the first half, made five 3-pointers and finished with 17 points for Lehigh. The Mountain Hawks made a Stabler Arena-record 15 3-pointers on 26 attempts and shot 53 percent overall.

Austin Butler made six 3s and scored a career-high 22 points for Holy Cross (2-11, 0-3), which shot 50 percent and made 12 of 27 3-point tries but lost its fifth straight. Jehyve Floyd had 16 points and four blocks.
