Ferguson, Colgate beat NAIA Pittsburgh-Bradford 103-52

HAMILTON, N.Y. -- Jack Ferguson scored 19 points on 6-of-9 shooting and Malcolm Regisford added 15 points with eight rebounds to help Colgate cruise to a 103-52 win over NAIA Pittsburgh-Bradford on Friday.

Ferguson had three 3-pointers, four assists and three steals, and Regisford made 7 of 9 from the field. Will Rayman scored 12 points for Colgate (5-6). The Raiders made a season-high 39 field goals and improved to 5-0 at home for the first time in 17 years.

Rayman sandwiched two layups around his dunk to make it 10-0 as UPB missed its first 10 shots and went scoreless for the first 5 1/2 minutes. Ferguson made a layup and then hit a 3-pointer to make it 25-8 midway through the half and Colgate used 7-0 and 9-0 spurts to take 29-point lead into the break.

The Raiders shot 57 percent from the field and hit 18 of 22 free throws.

Malique McCoy scored 17 points and Colby Mills added 14 for the Panthers. UPB attempted just two free throws, missing both, as Colgate was called for a season-low 10 fouls.
