Fox leads Army rally from 19 down to defeat Lafayette 81-71

WEST POINT, N.Y. -- Jordan Fox scored 18 points and Army rallied from a 19-point deficit in the second half to defeat Lafayette 81-71 on Thursday.

Trailing 43-26 after the Leopards had their biggest half of the season, the Black Knights responded with their biggest half, outscoring Lafayette 55-28 after the break.

Matt Wilson added 15 points for Army (10-6, 3-2 Patriot League) and John Emezie and Alex King had 12 apiece. King and Emezie had all their points in the second half, Emezie going 3 of 3 on 3-pointers. Fox had 11 after the break as Army went 9 of 15 behind the arc and shot 56 percent overall (15 of 27). The Black Knights also went 16 of 24 from the foul line and had just three turnovers.

Lafayette (4-12, 2-3) shot 55 percent in the first half, making half of its 14 3-pointers. The Leopards were 4 of 14 in the second half when they shot 35 percent. Alex Petrie scored 17 points and Matt Klinewski and Just Jaworski had 13 each.

Army scored 26 points off of 18 Lafayette turnovers.
