North Florida beats Kennesaw State 85-78

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Noah Horchler had 15 points and 13 rebounds on Saturday night, his second straight double-double, and North Florida beat Kennesaw State 85-78.

Horchler's jumper with 1:36 left made it 79-76 and started an 8-0 run powered by 6-of-8 free throw shooting that helped the Ospreys (8-12, 2-1 Atlantic Sun) pull away to an 85-76 lead. Tyler Hooker's layup for the Owls with four seconds left capped the scoring for both teams.

North Florida led for almost the entire second half except when Kennesaw State took a 58-57 lead on Hooker's 3-point play. Ivan Gandia-Rosa hit a trio of free throws for the Ospreys to retake the lead and then they took the lead for good after JT Escobar's pair of free throws broke a 62-all tie.
