Idaho rallies to beat Montana State for 5th straight win

MOSCOW, Idaho -- Brayon Blake had 24 points with 14 rebounds and Victor Sanders added 21 points as Idaho battled back late to beat Montana State 88-78 and win its fifth straight Big Sky Conference game Thursday night.

Blake hit 4 of 7 from distance as the Vandals drained 11 of 33 from long range.

Montana State was up 40-38 at the break and pushed its advantage to 56-48 at the 14:38 mark. Idaho rallied to take a 68-61 lead with 9:28 left before Montana State's Keljin Blevins nailed a 3-pointer and followed with three free throws to tie at 68. Devonte Klines drove for a layup to give the Bobcats a 72-71 lead with 6:50 left.

Sanders gave Idaho the lead for good when he drained two straight from long range to go up 77-72 and the Vandals held on for the win.

Jordan Scott had 10 points with six rebounds for Idaho (18-7, 10-3).

Blevin had 24 points to lead Montana State (13-14, 6-8), which has dropped four of its last five games.
