Montana wins 10th straight, beats Northern Colorado 88-79

GREELEY, Colo. -- Fabijan Krslovic scored 21 points and sparked a key surge to help Montana pull away and beat Northern Colorado 88-79 on Thursday night for its tenth straight win.

Montana (17-5, 10-0 Big Sky Conference) has also won six straight road games, and is off to its best start since going 17-4 in the 2012-13 season. Northern Colorado (14-8, 5-4) has lost two consecutive games.

The game was tied 37-37 at halftime, and Grizzlies opened the second half on a 26-9 run for a 63-48 lead with 12 minutes left. Krslovic scored 12 points, Bobby Moorehead hit two 3-pointers and had eight points, and Ahmaad Rorie capped the surge with a dunk.

Krslovic was 8 of 10 from the field, and Moorehead finished with 18 points and Rorie had 17. Jamar Akoh chipped in 13 points for Montana.

Andre Spight scored 32 points to lead Northern Colorado.
