Morgan dunk caps Fairleigh Dickinson rally in 81-77 win

TEANECK, N.J. -- Noah Morgan, the Northeast Conference rookie of the week, scored 21 points, including a 3-point play off a dunk to give Fairleigh Dickinson a two-possession lead in the final minute and the Knights rallied past Central Connecticut State 81-77 Thursday night despite owning the lead for barely more than three minutes.

Darian Anderson added 14 points for Fairleigh Dickinson (5-9, 2-1), Jahlil Jenkins added 12 points and Mike Holloway Jr. 11.

Anderson had four, Jenkins three and Morgan two of Fairleigh Dickinson's 13 steals. CCSU (8-8, 1-2) turned the ball over 22 times to just seven for the Knights, who scored 18 points off turnovers.

Joe Hugley scored a career-high 33 points and pulled down 12 rebounds, his first double-double, for the Blue Devils and made 10 of the team's 28 field goals.

The Blue Devils built their largest lead, 61-49, by 12:56 of the second half but Fairleigh Dickinson broke a four-minute drought and came back on an 18-6 run to tie, 67-67, when Jenkins landed a 3-pointer.

Morgan's dunk and free throw made the lead 79-73 with 35 seconds left.
