Alex King scored 24, leads Army past St. Francis (BKN) 76-64

NEW YORK -- Alex King pumped in a season-high 24 points and Army rebounded from a 29-point drubbing at the hands of Wake Forest to post a 76-64 win over St. Francis Brooklyn Tuesday night.

King scored 13 of his points in the first half, sparking the Black Knights to a 14-point halftime advantage, 44-30.

Army (6-4) shot 50 percent from the field (29 of 58), including 11 of 23 from behind the three-point arc. Tucker Blackwell scored 12 points and Jordan Fox added 10.

The Terriers (2-8) lost at home for the first time this season and now have dropped five of their last six games. Chauncey Hawkins scored 14 points to lead St. Francis, which shot 39.3 percent (22 of 56) from the field and just 4 of 20 from behind the 3-point arc.

Army returns home to play host to Air Force Sunday afternoon in the nonconference finale.
