Buffalo dominates Ohio in 108-82 win

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Nick Perkins scored 21 points, Dontay Caruthers poured in 19 more and Buffalo pierced the century mark for the third time this season in a 108-82 win over Ohio on Saturday.

Jeremy Harris added 12 points and 11 assists, Wes Clark had 12 points and 10 rebounds and CJ Massinburg finished with 15 points for Buffalo, which shot 53 percent to rack up a program record for points scored in a Mid-American Conference game.

The Bulls (21-8, 13-3) dominated inside, outscoring Ohio 58-30 in the paint and controlling the glass 48-32.

Tied at 31-all late in the first half, Buffalo got the 3-pointer from Harris to take the lead for good and spark a 12-2 run that put the Bulls firmly in control the rest of the way. In the second half, Caruthers stretched the advantage to 77-57 on a layup with 11:57 left and the margin never dropped below 20 points the rest of the way.

Teyvion Kirk scored 21 points and Mike Laster had 19 to lead five Ohio (12-16, 5-11) players in double figures.
