Bradford has career-high 31 in ETSU's 96-76 victory

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. -- Desonta Bradford had career highs of 31 points and five 3-pointers and East Tennessee State remained unbeaten in the Southern Conference with a 96-76 victory over Samford on Thursday night.

Bradford made 12 of 16 shots, including 5 of 9 from the arc, and added four assists and three steals for the Buccaneers (20-4, 11-0), who have won 14 straight games.

Devontavius Payne added 15 points and Jalan McCloud 11 for ETSU, which shot 58 percent, including 14 of 31 from the 3-point line.

Demetrius Denzel-Dyson scored 23 points, Eric Adams 21 with nine rebounds and Justin Coleman 19 points for the Bulldogs (8-16, 4-7).

Bradford three straight 3-pointers as ETSU took a 13-4 lead and led the rest of the way. A 14-2 run cut the lead to three early in the second half but the Buccaneers responded by outscoring the Bulldogs 28-7 over eight minutes to lead 80-56.
