UNC Asheville roars back; UNC Greensboro goes cold, 67-60

GREENSBORO, N.C. -- MaCio Teague scored 25 points and grabbed 11 rebounds as UNC Asheville held UNC Greensboro scoreless over the final five minutes of a come-from-behind, 67-60 victory Tuesday night.

It was the Bulldogs' fourth victory in 14 meetings with the Spartans.

Marvin Smith hit a 3-pointer and Demetrius Troy got to the hoop for a layup to give UNC Greensboro a 45-33 halftime lead.

The Bulldogs opened the second half on a 6-0 run but didn't take the lead until Teague's layup with 1:32 left made it 61-60. UNC Greensboro did not score after James Dickey hit two free throws with 5:24 left and the Bulldogs scored the final 12 points of the game.

Teague converted 11 of 13 from the line and Ahmad Thomas added 18 points and four steals for the Bulldogs (7-5).

Smith finished with 13 points and Francis Alonso added another 12 for the Spartans (8-4).
