Creighton cruises past Maryland-Eastern Shore 87-36

OMAHA, Neb. -- Marcus Foster hit three 3-pointers and scored 15 to lead five players in double figures and Creighton rolled to an 87-36 victory over Maryland-Eastern Shore on Friday night.

Khyri Thomas and Ty-Shon Alexander added 12 points apiece for the Bluejays (8-2), while Martin Krampelj and Manny Suarez scored 11 and 10, respectively.

Creighton had a 28-0 advantage in points off turnovers and outscored the Hawks 21-2 on fast-break points in the first meeting between the schools. Maryland-Eastern Shore (3-9) is 0-8 on the road this season.

Foster and Thomas hit 3-pointers in a game-opening 13-0 run and the Bluejays never trailed. Foster's 3-pointer ignited a 10-0 run to close out the first half and Creighton led 45-17.

Logan McIntosh had 13 points to pace the Hawks, while Cameron Bacote hit four 3-pointers and scored 12.

Creighton knocked down 12 3-pointers and shot 52 percent (33 of 63) from the floor. The Hawks connected on 13 of 55 shots (24 percent) and 5 of 19 (26 percent) from 3-point range. Creighton turned the ball over just four times and had a 41-32 advantage on the boards.
