Brown's jumper with 13.5 to go lifts San Jose St. past UNLV

LAS VEGAS -- Terrell Brown scored the game-winner with 13.5 seconds left and San Jose State beat UNLV 76-74 on Saturday for its fourth straight win.

Brown had the ball at the top of the arc and drove the lane before making a jump shot just in front of the net. UNLV's Jovan Mooring, who finished with 18 points, missed a jumper from inside the paint to end it.

Jaycee Hillsman had 16 points to lead San Jose State (13-10, 6-6 Mountain West). Brandon Clarke added 13 points, and Ryan Welage and Brown finished with 12 apiece.

Tyrell Green scored a career-high 28 points for UNLV (10-16, 3-10), which has lost six in a row. Christian Jones chipped in 11 points and grabbed 12 rebounds. Green made a layup and a 3-pointer to tie it at 74 with 40 seconds left.

UNLV had its last lead with 15 minutes left. San Jose had an eight-point lead with 7:24 remaining.
