PKL 6 Power Rankings: Vishal Bhardwaj, Rahul Chaudhari break into top 10

Welcome to ESPN's PKL Power Rankings as we pick the best players in the Pro Kabaddi League. The rankings are based on seven parameters, each carrying a unique weightage.

Round 2 = 7 October to 5 November 2018 (number in brackets indicates the change in position from the last round)

#10 Rahul Chaudhari - 111.12 points (new)

Raider, Telugu Titans

After being relieved of captaincy duties this season, Chaudhari is back to his prolific best in what is shaping up to be a very strong Telugu Titans outfit. PKL's original poster boy has been the lead raider for the Titans for the better part of the six seasons that they have been a part of the league.

#9 Ajay Thakur - 113.32 points (=)

Raider, Tamil Thalaivas

Thakur is third on the raid points table and has often been the lone saving grace for the Thalaivas, who have struggled for the most part this season. Thakur has led from the front and his customary calm and thoughtful leadership has been crucial in the matches that his team has managed to win.

#8 Naveen Kumar - 115.08 points (new)

Raider, Dabang Delhi KC

While Dabang Delhi KC are struggling once again and might miss out on the playoffs, 18-year-old Naveen Kumar has easily been their most impressive player and has marked himself out as one of the brightest young talents in his debut season.

#7 Pardeep Narwal - 121.22 points (+1)

Raider, Patna Pirates

After a red-hot start to the season, Pardeep has blown hot and cold over the past week but his remarkable consistency in the first three weeks sees him move up a spot in round 2 of our power rankings. However, the three-time champions have been over-reliant on Pardeep and that might see them miss out on the playoffs this season.

#6 Abozar Mighani - 123.44 points (+4)

Defender, Telugu Titans

After struggling last season, the Titans have only lost two of their six matches this year. A lot of the credit for the turnaround goes to Mighani, who has been a rock in defence. With his ankle holds especially proving to be hugely successful, Mighani -- who starred in the Gujarat Fortunegiants run to the final last year -- has been a valuable addition for the Titans.

#5 Sachin - 128.21 points (-2)

Raider, Gujarat Fortunegiants

The Fortunegiants chose to retain the inexperienced Sachin ahead of proven performers like Mighani and Fazel Atrachali before the auctions this year and he has handsomely repaid that faith by guiding them to five wins and one tie in their seven matches so far. This is the second consecutive year where he has led the raiding department for the team from Gujarat.

#4 Vishal Bhardwaj - 128.89 points (new)

Defender, Telugu Titans

Bhardwaj was one of the finds of Season 5 and the Titans rewarded his solid displays by making him captain this year. At just 21 years of age, Bharadwaj has not been overwhelmed by the additional responsibility and has led the defence with solid support from Iranian import Mighani.

#3 Kashiling Adake - 135.37 points (-1)

Raider, Bengaluru Bulls

A regular presence in the PKL since the first season, Adake was the best raider in Season 2 -- where he scored a staggering 114 points, 16 more than anyone else. After a couple of quiet seasons, Adake is back to his best now and has formed a formidable raiding trio with Pawan Kumar Sehrawat and Rohit Kumar for the Bulls.

#2 Siddharth Desai - 164.02 points (+4)

Raider, U Mumba

Desai has proved to be an unstoppable force in his debut season in the PKL, becoming the fastest player to score 50 points in the history of the tournament. He's on course to be the fastest to 100 points too after scoring 98 points in just seven matches this year, for a stunning average of 14 points per match.

#1 Pawan Kumar Sehrawat - 200.44 points (=)

Raider, Bengaluru Bulls

Sehrawat has racked up 83 points in just six matches this year after averaging one point a match in the previous two seasons. His average of 13.17 raid points per match is second only to Desai. He was originally supposed to be a support raider for the Bulls but has scored more points than anyone else for them this year.
