Daniel Suarez teleconference transcript: Stewart-Haas Racing announced today that Daniel Suarez will drive the No. 41 Haas Automation/Arris Mustang this season. Suarez joins teammates Kevin Harvick, Clint Bowyer and Aric Almirola as part of the four-car operation. Daniel Suarez joins Stewart-Haas Racing: Stewart-Haas Racing (SHR) has signed Daniel Suárez to its Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series lineup in 2019. The Mexican driver, who turned 27 today, will pilot the team's No. 41 Ford Mustang with sponsorship from Haas Automation and ARRIS International PLC, joining teammates Kevin Harvick, Aric Almirola and Clint Bowyer. The 2019 season will mark Suárez's third year in the elite NASCAR Cup Series, but his first with SHR. Kurt Busch's ex-girlfriend guilty of fraud, tax evasion: Patricia Driscoll, Kurt Busch's former girlfriend and Armed Forces Foundation executive director, was found guilty of fraud and tax evasion Thursday by a federal jury, according to a department of justice spokesman. Tony Gibson still looking to make a difference: After 31 years, Tony Gibson will have a job in NASCAR that doesn't send him on the road. The former crew chief enters the 2018 season as the new production manager for Stewart-Haas Racing. Gibson, 53, will supervise many of the departments responsible for building the cars for its four drivers, Kurt Busch, Kevin Harvick, Aric Almirola and Clint Bowyer.
