Suarez injures thumb in Texas accident UPDATE: Daniel Suarez had his left thumb put in a splint following the NASCAR Cup Series race at Texas. He said in a video posted on Twitter he hurt the thumb in an accident on the second lap of the race. He continued to compete after the accident and finished 29th. Stanley makes its 2018 debut at Texas Sunday's MENCS event in Texas marks the first of 12 races in which STANLEY will be featured as primary sponsor of Suárez's #19 Toyota Camry. STANLEY, now in their fourth season as a primary sponsor at Joe Gibbs Racing, is synonymous with quality, reliability, innovation and value when it comes to providing the right tools for the job, whether that be a 'do-it-yourself' project or professional contractors on the jobsite. For the 12th consecutive year, STANLEY and the ACE Foundation are teaming up to donate $100,000 to Children's Miracle Network hospitals. If Suárez races his No. 19 Toyota Camry to victory at Texas, the donation will increase to $1 million. To kickstart the program, Suárez will visit Cook Children's Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas Thursday afternoon to unveil his Camry for the Texas race which was specially designed by Chip Foose and four patient champions.
