JR Motorsports reshuffles team car numbers entering 2019

JR Motorsports is off to a fresh start. Today, through a video from team owner Dale Earnhardt Jr., the team announced the restructuring of its car number lineup in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. Most notable is the news that the organization will add the iconic No. 8 Chevrolet to its stable, a number long associated with the Earnhardt family. The No. 9 entry will now race with the familiar and popular No. 8. The team will inherit points from the No. 1 team. Its driver roster currently includes Zane Smith, Jeb Burton, Ryan Truex, Spencer Gallagher and Ryan Preece. The only thing changing on the teams are the numbers themselves. Ray Black, Jr. returns to SS Greenlight Racing

SS Greenlight Racing announced today that Ray Black Jr. will once again pilot the No. 07 Chevrolet Camaro for Bobby Dotter in the NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS). Long-time team member Jason Miller will serve as crew chief to Ray Black Jr. on the No. 07 Chevrolet Camaro. Alsco to sponsor spring XFINITY race at Bristol Motor Speedway

Alsco, a global leader in uniform and linen rental services, has signed a multi-year agreement to become the title sponsor of the April NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Bristol Motor Speedway, track officials announced today. The race boosts Alsco's NASCAR Xfinity Series entitlements to three, as the company also recently extended Xfinity Series event sponsorships at BMS sister tracks Kentucky Speedway and Charlotte Motor Speedway. JR Motorsports and GMS Racing launch Drivers Edge Development

Building on a successful technical alliance, JR Motorsports and GMS Racing jointly announced today the establishment of Drivers Edge Development, a program presented by Chevrolet aimed at grooming the next generation of racing superstars through a tiered competition pipeline coupled with comprehensive off-track education. Fire Alarm Services to continue sponsorship of John Hunter Nemechek

GMS Racing announced today that Fire Alarm Services, Inc., (FAS), a provider in a superior fire, life safety, and security services, will serve as primary sponsor for John Hunter Nemechek and the No. 23 GMS Racing team in 13 NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) races in 2019. Since 2016, FAS has been a supporter of Nemechek. The Colorado-based company served as a primary sponsor in multiple NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series (NGOTS) races for Nemechek, as well as 11 NXS races in 2018. FAS has been apart of many of Nemechek's career-first accomplishments, including his first NGOTS pole award at Iowa Speedway in 2016, his first NXS win at Kansas Speedway and his first NXS pole award at ISM Raceway, both took place in 2018.[More](1-18-2019)


Diamond Gusset Jeans & Tommy Joe Martins partner up again for Atlanta

Tommy Joe Martins & longtime partner Diamond Gusset Jeans are pairing back up for the NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway, the Rinnai 250. It will be the first sponsorship for Diamond Gusset Jeans in NASCAR since Martins began driving for his current team, BJ McLeod Motorsports. Diamond Gusset has sponsored Martins since 2014, during his family team's first run in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. Camping World to sponsor Chicagoland Speedway races: Chicagoland Speedway announced today that Camping World, the nation's largest network of RV-centric retail locations, and the Official RV and Outdoor Retailer of NASCAR, will serve as the entitlement sponsor for this year's ultimate summer NASCAR festival June 28-30. ichard Childress Racing (RCR) has renewed its partnership with Alsco, the premier linen and uniform rental business, into the 2019 NASCAR season. Alsco will serve as an associate partner for the full year on both No. 8 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, piloted by Daniel Hemric in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series, and the No. 2 Chevrolet Camaro, driven by Tyler Reddick in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. In addition to an associate partnership, Alsco will serve as the co-primary partner on Hemric's Camaro ZL1 at Atlanta Motor Speedway, in conjunction with Alsco's and RCR's shared relationship with uniform supplier VF Workwear.
