Thailand's Kanyalak Preedasuttijit won the Ladies European Thailand Championship on her home course by one shot on Sunday.

Preedasuttijit shot a final-round 69 to ensure victory on her home course, ahead of amateur Selin Hyun, with a winning tally of 15 under.

Despite a four-shot lead overnight, it wasn't all that easy for Preedasuttijit as Hyun fired in a final-day 65 to put her in second place and one off the winning score. It was an impressive improvement on her opening round of 75.

Preedasuttijit's 15-under for the weekend earned her €45,000 and a place in this year's two Euopean Majors, both at the British Open and Evian Championship.

The highest placed European was Anne Van Dam from the Netherlands, who finished the weekend on nine under while Great Britain's best performer was Gabriella Cowley who finished on four under.

America's top performer was Beth Allen who finished the weekend on one under par.
