African World Cup qualifying - how each nation can still make Russia 2018

The final round of qualifying for the 2018 World Cup takes place between Nov. 10 and 14.

Already qualified: Egypt, Nigeria, Senegal
Places yet to be decided: 2 automatic

Here, we take a look at which nations can still make it to Russia, and how they can get there.

The five winners of the four-nation groups qualify automatically for the finals. There is no other route for African nations to reach the World Cup.

GROUP A

Guinea and Libya have already been eliminated, with Tunisia holding a three-point advantage over DR Congo.

November 11: Tunisia vs. Libya, DR Congo vs. Guinea

Tunisia need a point at home to Libya to secure their place at the finals. If they lose, the DR Congo can overtake them with a win but may need to win by two goals -- the teams would be level on goal difference if Tunisia lose 2-1 and DR Congo win 1-0, and in that scenario Tunisia would go through on head to head.

GROUP B

Nigeria won at home to Zambia on October 7 to seal the group.

GROUP C

Ivory Coast are top on but it's going down to the final day on Nov. 11.

Morocco, leading the table by a point, are at away to second-placed Ivory Coast on Saturday in the final match and only need to avoid defeat to reach the finals. But if they lose, then Ivory Coast will make it instead.

GROUP D

Senegal sealed their place with a 2-0 win away to South Africa on Nov. 10.

GROUP E

Egypt got a late, late winner against Congo on Oct. 8 to seal their place.
