West Ham will not offer new contracts to James Collins, Patrice Evra - sources

James Collins has been informed by email that West Ham United will not be giving him a new contract, sources close to the club have told ESPN FC.

Collins' contract expires next month and West Ham have opted not to offer a new deal to the former Wales international, who has made more than 200 appearances during two spells at the club.

He joined West Ham from Cardiff City in 2005 and was sold to Aston Villa four years later before returning in 2012.

Patrice Evra has also been informed his contract will not be renewed after he joined West Ham from Marseille in February.

West Ham sent an email to players who are out of contract to inform them if they would be receiving a new offer from the club.
