Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has hinted that he will look to help Dele Alli overcome issues with his form and temperament.

Alli, 21, has struggled to find his best form with Spurs this season, scoring three goals and provided three assists in 17 Premier League appearances.

On Saturday, Alli came in for criticism for a late challenge on Manchester City's Kevin De Bruyne, for which he was only shown a yellow card. Ilkay Gundogan and Fernandinho were also on the receiving end of poor tackles from the England international.

Pochettino would not go into specifics about his players, but suggested he would sit down with the player to sort out any issues.

"I am not going now to talk about individual players," Pochettino was quoted as saying by the Daily Telegraph. "You can assess, people can assess. I'm going to say what I need to do and try to help him and help everyone."
