Gerard Deulofeu lifts Everton to win in friendly as Hull draw

Gerard Deulofeu sparked Everton to a 3-1 win in a friendly at MK Dons on Tuesday.

The winger rounded Dons keeper David Martin in the second minute and sent in a ball that defender Joe Walsh tapped in for an own goal.

Deulofeu followed that up by sending in a cross for Barkley to double Everton's lead in the 19th minute.

Giorgio Rasulo's sharp effort from 18 yards put Dons on the scoresheet, but Everton sub Muhamed Besic wrapped up the win with a deflected header late on.

Hull City managed a 2-2 draw at Barnsley.

Adama Diomande opened the scoring for the Tigers before Barnsley's Tom Bradshaw scored on both sides of half-time, and Jarrod Bowen found a late equaliser.

Josh Ginnelly's scored in the closing moments to give Burnley a 2-1 win at Bolton after Andre Gray scored the Clarets' opener.

Villarreal won the Trofeo Iberico de Extramadura by beating Sporting Lisbon 4-3 on penalties after a goalless game.

In friendlies with other La Liga sides on Tuesday, Espanyol drew 1-1 at Utrecht, Eibar managed a 2-2 draw at Mirandes and Las Palmas fell 1-0 at home to Tenerife.

In France, Metz beat Belgian side Tubize 2-1, while Dijon were held to a 1-1 draw by UNFP FC.

Bundesliga side Colonge lost 1-0 to third-tier Fortuna Colonge, while Werder Bremen and Huddersfield Town played to a goalless draw.
