Huddersfield Town offer club themed funerals for fans

What do you get the Huddersfield Town fan who has everything this Christmas? For starters, how about his/her own Terrier's-themed funeral service?

Inspired by a famous quote from the club's legendary former manager Bill Shankly -- "Some people believe football is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed with that attitude. I can assure you it is much, much more important than that" -- the Championship side are hoping to cash in by offering fans a variety of pre-paid funeral plans.

According to the Huddersfield Daily Examiner, your £4,195 gets you either a blue and white coffin or a traditional coffin draped with a Town shirt with the name and number of the deceased on the back.

The club will also provide a bouquet while their anthem "Smile Awhile" will be played during the service.

Should you wish to go for the cremation option, ashes can also be scattered at the club's John Smith's Stadium.
