Gibraltar's gloriously semi-pro XI against Poland

Sunday was a proud day for Gibraltar, the tiny British Overseas Territory at Spain's southern tip. Having secured a place in UEFA back in 2013, they lined up for their first-ever competitive fixture -- a Euro 2016 qualifier against Poland -- with an XI full of players who do far more than play football.

Seems like a reasonable XI until you see this snarky graphic shown prior to kick-off:

That's right -- just two players who identify as professional footballers and plenty of more noble occupations therein. We love stories like this that only add to the lore of the minnows. Sadly, the game ended 7-0 to Poland. (U.S. only: watch the goals.)
