Midfielder Sabelo Ndzinisa scored all four goals as Swaziland's Mbabane Swallows stunned South Africa's Platinum Stars 4-2 in their Caf Confederation Cup Group B clash in Lobamba on Tuesday.

Both sides are appearing in the group stages of the competition for the first time, and it was the home team who made a fast start with a 2-0 lead after just six minutes.

Benson Shilongo converted a penalty to bring Stars back into the game, but Ndzinisa bagged two more as they home side turned the screw.

Gift Sithole was sent off for Stars seven minutes from time, after which, Shilongo grabbed his second of the day, which proved little more than a consolation

MC Alger made it two wins from two in the pool though as they claimed a 2-1 home success over three-time winners CS Sfaxien in Algiers.

Hichem Nekkache put the Algerian side in front, but Tunisia's Sfaxien equalised before halftime through Karim Aouadhi.

The winner came on 66 minutes from Algerian international Abderrahmane Hachoud, while the visitors had Senegalese forward Mohamed Ndoye sent-off with 10 minutes remaining.

South African side SuperSport United recorded a thumping 5-3 victory over CF Mounana in their Group D clash in Libreville.

Goals from Grant Kekana, Thabo Mnyamane (two) and New Zealand international Jeremy Brockie (two) handed victory to coach Stuart Baxter's side, though the latter had stayed behind in South Africa to work on his preparations for the national team's African Nations Cup qualifier against Nigeria next month.

The side was instead coach by assistant Kaitano Tembo.

Abdul Atchabao, Hamidou Sinayoko and Louis Otchanga found the back of the net for the home side.

Democratic Republic of Congo giants TP Mazembe travel to Guinea to play Horoya AC in the other match in the pool on Wednesday.

Ugandan club KCCA recorded a 2-1 home victory over Club Africain of Tunisia after coming from behind in their Group A clash in Kampala.
