Stoke City have scrapped their end-of-season awards dinner with the club on the verge of relegation from the Premier League, Sky Sports has reported.
Stoke, who drew with Burnley on Sunday, could drop into the Championship this weekend if they lose at Liverpool and other results go against them.
They are currently four points from safety and, having been due to hold the awards dinner next month, have decided it would be inappropriate in the current circumstances.
However, Stoke chairman Peter Coates has told the Stoke Sentinel the club does not intend to change manager if they are condemned to relegation.
"Paul is under contract and there are no plans to change," Coates said.
"We haven't been winning games because we haven't been scoring goals. It's not his fault that we haven't got a goal scorer.
"You must remember we had Jese at great cost and Saido Berahino at great cost, but they haven't performed for us."
Former Norwich and Aston Villa boss Lambert was appointed in succession to Mark Hughes but has won only one of his 13 Premier League games.
