Javier Pastore to stay at PSG after Inter loan collapses - source

Javier Pastore will not join Lucas Moura in leaving Parc des Princes this month, a source has told ESPN FC, after a move to Inter Milan failed to materialise.

The Argentina international's agent Marcelo Simonian was told to leave Milan after PSG sporting director Antero Henrique informed Pastore that the terms of Inter's loan offer were not satisfactory.

According to the source, Inter were offering an initial loan deal with an obligation to buy if the Serie A outfit qualify for the Champions League by the end of the season but the Ligue 1 leaders felt that there was not enough certainty that the deal would ultimately end up being permanent.

Another PSG player is also staying put in youth academy graduate Lorenzo Callegari who, despite rarely featuring at senior level, has seen his attempts to leave blocked by the capital club.

Callegari's contract expires this summer and although PSG hope to convince him to sign a new contract before making a loan move, the player may well end up permanently leaving for nothing.
