Lucas Moura says he is "devastated" to have been left out of the PSG team this season and insists he will go anywhere for the chance to play regular football. Moura's five-year spell in Paris looks set to come to an end as he has played just 79 minutes of competitive football this season following the arrival of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe. The 25-year-old has been linked with both Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United, while Arsenal have also recently joined the race. However, two of PSG's former Brazilian stars, Rai and Nene, suggested Spain would be a better fit for the Brazil international. "I don't really know," he told L'Equipe. "It's true that La Liga could suit me. With my pace and my technique, I could perform well there. But it doesn't matter where I end up. I know what I can do. I didn't become an international by chance." Moura was the player most used by PSG coach Unai Emery last season, making 53 appearances across all competitions. And admits he doesn't know what has happened. "It's a brutal shock. I'm devastated to not play anymore, to not be able to express myself as I had done," he said. "Since I came to Paris, I had averaged 50 games a season, not always in the starting line-up, but I was able to contribute coming off the bench. This year, everything has changed. I'm not happy. I thought I had built something solid with the club, but that's clearly not the case." The former Sao Paulo prodigy also rejected speculation that he blames the €222 million summer arrival of Neymar for his woes. "We have known each other since we were six or seven years old. We played futsal against each other, and together at the Olympics and the Confederations Cup," he said. "I was happy to be wearing the same shirt and be in the same dressing-room as him again. "I'm happy to have been able to reactivate our friendship. And I was also happy for the club, which has taken another step forward with such a huge player." At his news conference on Tuesday, manager Unai Emery explained how he has been clear with Lucas about his future. "I have spoken with him, before the season and before the Nantes match," said the 46-year-old. "I told him, with every possibly respect, that I have my idea about what is best for him as a player. "Lucas will not have the chance to get much more game time here. He should look for that with another team because he remains a very good player."
