Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek is poised to join Crystal Palace on a season-long loan, sources close to the player and both clubs have told ESPN FC.
Chelsea have made Loftus-Cheek available for loan as he is well down the pecking order in Antonio Conte's plans at Stamford Bridge and made only six Premier League appearances last season and 11 in total for the champions.
A number of clubs have enquired about taking Loftus-Cheek on a temporary basis next season, but Palace have moved quickly to agree a deal with their London rivals Chelsea, as initially reported by the Telegraph.
Loftus-Cheek is due to undergo a medical at Palace in the next 24 hours and the deal is expected to be finalised soon.
The England under-21 international will become new Crystal Palace manager Frank de Boer's first signing since taking over at Selhurst Park and his arrival will come as a welcome boost to the former Ajax and Inter Milan boss as he looks to reshape the squad at Palace.
