Monaco in negotiations with Anderlecht to sign Youri Tielemans

Anderlecht have confirmed that they are in talks with French champions Monaco over a transfer of the Belgian club's midfielder Youri Tielemans.

Anderlecht sporting director Herman Van Holsbeeck confirmed last week that Tielemans, 20, who has just inspired his club to the Belgian Jupiler League title, would leave in the summer, though he suggested Monaco are not the only side interested.

However, following Anderlecht's final home game of the season on Sunday -- a 3-2 victory over KV Oostende -- Van Holsbeeck said the Ligue 1 title winners are in pole position to snap up the Belgium international.

"We still have some details to organise," Van Holsbeeck told VTM amid title celebrations at Anderlecht's Constant Vanden Stock stadium.

"The agreement isn't 100 percent done, but they are showing they absolutely want to sign him."
