Manchester City loan Bruno Zuculini to AEK Athens

Greek club AEK Athens have signed Manchester City midfielder Bruno Zuculini on loan for the rest of the season.

The 22-year-old Argentinian joined City in 2014 but has yet to appear in a competitive match for his parent club.

He has previously played in Spain on loan to Valencia and Cordoba before returning to England for a spell with Middlesbrough in the Championship.

AEK returned to Greece's top flight this season following the club's financial collapse in 2013, and has had a surprising first season back, occupying second place after 13 wins in 20 matches.

Earlier on Monday, Man City confirmed Patrick Roberts will spend the next 18 months on loan at Celtic, while striker Enes Unal joined NAC Breda in the Dutch Eredivisie for the rest of the season.

AEK also signed forward Tomas Pekhart to a two-year deal after his contract was terminated by Ingolstadt. The Czech international also played for Nurnberg and spent brief loan spells at Slavia and Sparta Prague.
