Arsenal started brightly but missed opportunities with Tim Krul saving from Alexandre Lacazette and Calum Chambers, while Shkodran Mustafi had a header cleared off the line.

The hosts took the lead against the run of the play after 21 minutes as Pukki's deflected shot off Mustafi found its way into the net.

Arsenal were awarded a penalty six minutes later as Christoph Zimmerman handled from a free kick.

Krul saved Aubameyang's penalty but it was retaken after VAR had adjudged four Norwich players had encroached into the box.

Aubameyang equalised from the resulting penalty but Norwich went ahead on the stroke of half time through Cantwell after a swift counter attack.

Arsenal responded again after 57 minutes when Aubameyang was the first to react to a rebound from a corner to strike the ball into the top corner.

Bernd Leno produced two excellent saves from Kenny McLean and Pukki to keep Arsenal in the game and earn a draw.
