Columbus Crew SC's hot start to the new MLS season stalled in a goalless draw at the Philadelphia Union on Saturday.

Despite uncertainty about the club's future amid relocation plans, Columbus had won its opening two games of the season but could not find the breakthrough against the Union, who also stayed unbeaten after winning their season opener.

Columbus' Gyasi Zardes looked the most likely to score and sent a header just wide of the post early in the second half.

Czech Republic international Borek Dockal made his first start for Philadelphia and played 76 minutes.
