10-man FC Porto go through as they hit Monaco for five

Ten-man Porto advanced out of Group G with a 5-2 defeat of a disappointing Monaco side, who also went down a man at the Estadio do Dragao.

A first-half Vincent Aboubakar double set the hosts well on their way to the round of 16.

A clash between Porto defender Felipe and Monaco's Rachid Ghezzal saw both men sent off for violent conduct in the 38th minute, before Yacine Brahimi gave the Portuguese a three-goal advantage just before the half.

Kamil Glik converted a penalty just after the hour mark after Ivan Marcano was whistled for handling the ball in the box.

Alex Telles restored Porto's advantage four minutes later, before Radamel Falcao struck in the 78th minute and Tiquinho made it five for Porto.
