Shakhtar Donetsk stunned Napoli 2-1 at Metalist Stadium thanks to goals from Taison and Facundo Ferreyra. Taison gave the hosts the lead on the quarter-hour with a neat left-footed finish from just inside the box. Ferreyra added a second in the 58th minute -- the Argentine striker racing onto the end of Taras Stepanenko's majestic cross from the left touchline and bouncing his header into the roof of the net from close. Arkadiusz Milik pulled a goal back from the penalty spot in the 71st minute after Stepanenko was cautioned for a foul in the Shakhtar box. But Napoli could not muster an equaliser in the Ukraine.
