Levante ease relegation fears with back-to-back wins

Levante secured back-to-back LaLiga wins for the first time this season with a hard-fought 2-1 triumph over Eibar.
Marti Roger put the hosts ahead before Charles equalised for Eibar just after the hour mark, only for Emmanuel Boateng to hit back almost immediately to seal victory for Levante who move seven points clear of the relegation zone.
Levante were ahead after 25 minutes when Junior Morales produced great skill and pace to get past Cote down the right wing before picking out Roger in the penalty area with an inch-perfect cross for the forward to convert.
Eibar went close through Dani Garcia's long-range strike which rattled the crossbar before Charles grabbed a deserved equaliser after 63 minutes when he slammed home Joan Jordan's knock down from a Cote corner.
However, Levante moved back in front inside a minute of the leveller after Boateng capitalised on a poor header by Anaitz Arbilla to round goalkeeper Marko Dmitrovic and tap into an empty net.
The hosts thought they had moved further ahead in the final minute when Boateng found the bottom corner but his strike was ruled out for offside.
Pedro Leon went close to snatching a point at the death for Eibar as his effort after an indirect free-kick was cleared off the line.
