Robbie Muirhead brace gives Dan Micciche first win as MK Dons boss

MK Dons finally gave boss Dan Micciche a first victory in charge as they beat play-off chasing Rotherham 3-2.
Miccichie had lost six and drawn two of his first eight games in the Dons hotseat but two goals from Robbie Muirhead and a Peter Pawlett effort put that right, as the hosts won for the first time in League One since December 30.
It looked like being a familiar story when Rotherham went ahead in the ninth minute, with Semi Ajayi turning home Caolan Lavery's header from a corner.
But that spurred the hosts into life and they went about turning the game around with two goals in the final 10 minutes of the first half.
After Chuks Aneke had criminally headed wide he set up Muirhead for the leveller, with the winger coolly finishing into the bottom corner.
Then six minutes later Aneke caused more trouble as he wriggled free and set up Pawlett for the easiest of tap-ins.
More slack defending allowed Muirhead to further the advantage when he drilled across Marek Rodak in the 57th minute.
After Ajayi had seen a header superbly turned onto the crossbar by Lee Nicholls, Rotherham made a game of it as Jon Taylor bundled home at the second attempt, but the Dons held on to move within four points of safety.
