Wilfried Zaha wonder goal helps Ivory Coast beat Russia in friendly

Jonathan Kodjia and Wilfried Zaha each scored a superb goal to help Ivory Coast to a 2-0 friendly win over Russia in Krasnodar on Friday.

Aston Villa's Kodjia opened the scoring on the half-hour mark after holding off a defender to reach a long pass and taking one touch before blasting a shot into the far corner.

However, Crystal Palace's Zaha may have topped the first goal with his own on 70 minutes. The former England striker received the ball 35 yards from goal, then skipped past four defenders before scoring at the near post.

It was Zaha's second goal in six games for Ivory Coast after he decided to switch international allegiances late last year.
