Dijon FCO 4-2 Lyon

Lyon's 100 percent start to the season came to an end as they suffered a shock 4-2 defeat at Dijon.

Corentin Tolisso put Lyon ahead after 20 minutes in what proved to be an eventful first-half when he put the ball into an empty net after Sergi Darder's initial shot was parried by Baptiste Reynet.

The hosts did not have to wait long to draw level when Frederic Sammaritano converted from the penalty spot after Nicolas N'Koulou was lucky to get away with just a yellow card following a professional foul on Julio Tavares.

However, Alexandre Lacazette restored Lyon's lead with his sixth goal in three games before himself being forced off with a worrying injury just before half-time.

And, to rub salt in the visitors' wounds, Tavares netted just before the whistle, heading Sammaritano's delivery beyond Anthony Lopes to send Dijon in level at the break.

Lyon started the second-half well as Darder drew a smart save from Reynet before former Manchester United defender Rafael saw an effort from distance clear the bar.

Despite their pressure, though, they found themselves behind on 73 minutes when Dylan Bahamboula struck after Lyon failed to deal with a corner.

And Les Gones' misery was compounded with two minutes on the clock when Pierre Lees Melou curled a stunning effort beyond Lopes to round off a fantastic evening for Dijon.
