Monaco hit the hair dye as they finish title-winning season with victory

Champions Monaco rounded off their Ligue 1 season with a 30th victory of the campaign at Rennes.

Leonardo Jardim's side won their first title in 17 years in midweek and showed there was no hangover -- even if a number of their players had dyed their hair for the occasion - as they defeated Rennes 3-2.

Fabinho, who is likely to be among those attracting interest this summer, was on target along with fellow Brazilians Jemerson and Jorge.

Jardim named a strong side despite having already wrapped up the title as Kylian Mbappe was included, though the likes of Radamel Falcao and Bernardo Silva started among the replacements.

They led through Fabinho's 43rd-minute strike, the defender applying the finish after Valere Germain's attempt had been thwarted.

Jemerson added a second early in the second half with a near-post header from a corner before Rennes pulled one back through Adama Diakhaby's penalty.

Jorge restored Monaco's two-goal lead by sweeping in Djibril Sidibe's cross for their 107th league goal of the season, meaning Diakhaby's second in the final minute was only a consolation.

The victory ensured Monaco ended the season with 12 Ligue 1 wins on the trot amid a 20-game unbeaten streak.
