Late Jorge Molina strike gives Real Betis a point

Substitute Jorge Molina's late strike secured Real Betis a deserved share of the spoils against 10-man Celta Vigo.Theo Bongonda's first goal of the season gave the visitors a first-half lead, but Jonny's sending off shortly after half-time put Eduardo Berizzo's men up against it.Joaquin and Bruno came close at the Estadio Benito Villamarin, before Molina eventually struck late on to secure Betis a hard-fought 1-1 draw.Pepe Mel's side came into the match having won two of their last three top-flight matches and had numerous chances to open the scoring.Heiko Westermann had an effort blocked and Alvaro Cejudo's attempt was saved, before the former, Bruno, Cristiano Piccini and Alfred N'Diaye had efforts in quick succession. That failure to net was punished as Iago Aspas' pass to Nolito was directed through to Bongonda, who slotted home a 25th-minute opener. It was a sucker punch that the hosts struggled to come to terms with, although Betis' hopes of a comeback received a major boost three minutes after half-time.Jonny, only just back from a ban, received his marching orders for yanking back Petros after mis-controlling the ball and being deemed last man.Joaquin's attempt from the resulting free-kick was heading home until goalkeeper Sergio Alvarez intervened and shortly afterwards Bruno had a header cleared off the line, before then nodding over another. It looked like Celta would hold on for victory, only for a lovely Petros pass to put Molina through to score with eight minutes remaining.Nolito wasted a chance at the other end as Celta countered towards the match's conclusion.
